Drop Spindle Spinning Kit

A drop spindle spinning kit in a  presentation box, containing everything you need to learn to spin.

Contains a hand finished, sanded and waxed drop spindle. These drop spindles spin for a long time and are especially good for those new to spinning. It also contains four different types of fibre. 40g each of Grey Jacob, Shetland Moorit and White Blue Faced Leicester wool tops and 40g of Carded Merino fibes (colours may vary). We chose these fibres to give a variety of different length fibres and softness as each fibre will spin up differently. Begin with the Jacob, move onto Shetland, then Blue faced Leicester (all 3 of these are British wool) and finish with soft luxurious Merino.

Also included are full instructions illustrated with colour photographs and a leader yarn to begin your spinning.
